Some of the reviews here are a bit scary because they give you wrong information about this product. sell at the mall for $80 and on their website for $120+. This is a great product and I have been buying this for at least five years now. I even have an older model of their straightener and it still works great. This is my first time buying glitter from Amazon which also made me skeptical at first. But fear not, you're in for a huge deal! Think of it this way: will you ever walk into the mall and one of the salespeople on the floor will try to sell you this? First the price is high but then they say they will lower it just for you? This straightener is probably cheaper for them to make but they get a commission on what they sell like avon, mary kay, treat yourself chef etc. Anyway, I love this product and would definitely recommend and will buy it again. It does the job, love the fact that I can curl or straighten my hair and it takes less time because I have "thick hair probes" but it works amazing. I've done other people's hair, even fine hair that has curl problems. and let me tell you! It will last! Use hairspray, of course, but the curls themselves stay on their own for at least 3-4 hours. So ignore all the crappy reviews, maybe they have a bad rectifier, it happens, but mine were fine. If so, send it back and I'm sure they will replace it.
