This item is DANGEROUS. I've had it for about a year and a half and this morning two small pieces of the hotplate cracked and fell on MY FOOT. Bye 450 degrees! I LOVE this hair straightener! I bought this almost 9 years ago and it was still the best flat iron I have ever had. The only reason I bought a new one is because my roommate kept taking it because it was her favorite. So I figured I might as well take the new one, and she might as well take the old one.

Only bought this item in January 2019 and the plates break and parts of the plate literally fall off. This shouldn't happen as early as 7 months after purchase. I am not very happy with this and would like to know where to make a complaint as I feel I should get a refund or replace the iron.
