When used as a curtain instead of a shower, they roll over the existing eaves very well. Also very good for doubling curtains, so you can get blackout curtains without spending about $50 for real blackout curtains. They were definitely a lot easier to install than the standard shower curtain mounting loop. It took me about 2 minutes to attach them to the rod and attach the curtain compared to 15 minutes to hook all the hinges through the curtain and then attach them to the rod and snap everything together as usual. And if you ever need to wash your curtain, you can just quickly take it off without having to reset the settings entirely.
