Review on Hankook Ventus V2 Concept 2 All-Season 235/45R17 V-Rated Radial Tire by Ognian Dimitrov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

I replaced the old Hankook Ventus V12 Evo1 tires with new ones that were 205/55/16 94W. The Evo1s were noticeably more rigid and produced a great deal of noise. However, they did not abandon the road! It was quite difficult to access the axle box from the area where it was located in the vehicle (an Octavia 1.8 with a manual transmission). On these, I was able to reach speeds of up to 125 miles per hour without any issues. The noise is the only factor that is bothersome. When they were at their wit's end, it was foolish to drive quickly on a wet road, and they should have known better. In general, Evo2 is very quiet, and it gave the impression of being gentler. However, this does not change its operating qualities in any way; everything remains the same as it was in evo1. It just grew more comfortable, and although it may have appeared so at the time, a bit more reactivity to taxiing resulted in more considered behavior. Regarding the wear and tear, only time will tell, and regarding the strength, the 94w index gives hope that everything will work out just well. By the way, the Evo 1 was able to withstand the roads in Hong Kong in this regard; the disks bent to their maximum capacity, and the rubber was barely affected at all. Even if I haven't driven faster than 150 before, I can't since the weather won't let me. But I've already drove in the rain at speeds between 100 and 120 miles per hour without incident. And quicker when it's raining, because why not? In general, a trendy item, so go for it without any second thoughts.

Pros
  • Excellent handling. What, a dry road, what a wet road - you're going to hurt yourself! And extremely silent.
Cons
  • It has not been made public at this time. Okay, so maybe it's a touch too gentle, but we're becoming too picky here.
