Good economical flat stone
I'd rather bake on a stone than a flat metal pan. I bought this to replace a 15" round stone with a small 1/4" edge that I have had for many years. I wish I could find another one like this. It works and doesn't cost an arm or a leg, I don't feel too bad hacking it. Two minor downsides: it's flimsy and a bit difficult to get out of a hot oven with gloves or hot pads on, and it's easy to see grease stains - but it's a rock, staining is part of its use.
