I upgraded my "Step Lights" on my Chrysler 300. This was actually the last set of headlights on my car that needed doing. Everything in my car is LED or HID except for the rear brake/brake lights. I'm telling you, it's an incredible change. You don't realize how much light is lost in the color of a lightbulb. That yellow tint you get from incandescent bulbs not only makes the light dimmer but also less clear. At first you'll think your light is "bluish," but that's because we're all so used to ordinary incandescent bulbs. After a few minutes you will notice that your lights are pure white and everything else is yellow. it is easier on the eyes and its durability is much higher. I don't know the specs but I would say you can see 20-30 percent more with these lights. From now on, I'm a big lifelong LED user. And as prices continue to drop, not only will you save more money by including lighting for home use, you'll improve your lifestyle as well.
