I love these sandals for my 4 year old son. He is autistic, so very sensitive to materials and prefers to wear socks and sneakers, but these sandals didn't bother him at all. They have a great cushion and the materials appear to be high quality leather. I really needed to get him something to wear for our upcoming trip to Orlando's theme parks. I bought a size 11.5 which is a half size hard to find and they fit perfectly. He usually wears a size 11 in Vans but he seems to be growing up so I went up a half size and I'm glad I did. Because they fit perfectly. The only negative thing I would say about them is that when I took them out of the nice ziplock plastic case they had a strong leather smell, but I would say the hot Florida sun played a part in that. The good news is that the strong smell seemed to go away within minutes of taking it out of the bag.
