I bought this mop set for detail work in silver. I have found all of these tools to be of excellent quality and workmanship and suitable for fine work on precious metals. The spherical ends of the punch are highly polished; There are some small machining marks on the block but they don't carry over to my work. I expect this set to last many years and cost a lot less than the Durston set. Highly recommended! Note: Many buyers have noted the fat content of the metal on the metal upon receipt of the kit. It is designed to protect instruments from rust during transport and is easy to remove.
