I bought this mount to replace my current headrest mount which had clips instead of a magnet. I should have bought that first. The magnet is strong enough to hold the Galaxy Tab 10.1 without having to shake or reposition it. Installation was very easy, but it only took me a minute to figure out that the easiest way was to detach the headrest from the seat and attach the mount rather than trying to install with the headrest attached. It took seconds and was very convenient. The kit includes two metal plates that attach to your devices with easy-to-apply 3M adhesive. I attached the larger one to the tablet and the smaller one to the cell phone in the case. (The magnet was strong enough to hold the Incipio Dualpro case). I've found this extremely helpful when traveling with a young child who always wants to change movies or shows. Rather than opening the clamp to adjust and then re-clamping to secure, the easiest way is to simply remove it from the mount and reattach it after adjustment. There are also no conflicts with any of the ports on the devices I use.
