. It didn't bounce or bounce even when playing my oldest CDs Full of scratches I bought this model after returning something called "HOTT" that bounces like kids playing Double Dutch. What an awful toy. But back to that insignia. It feels solid and I played it upside down and it was fine. It even comes with batteries, which is pretty rare these days. However, the supplied headphones turned out to be quite uncomfortable. But I recommend it. For anyone longing for the Walkman days, this is the next best thing. PS I use this CD player a lot and even dropped it once. It still works fine. The only drawback: It eats batteries. If you use alkaline ones you'll need to replace them every two to three days and no 3 volt transformer was included.
