does the job. on accessories

This is a good sturdy bike rack! I've had it for a few months now and have used it on several 400+ mile trips. All in all a good bag for the price! I'd like to say it's great, but there are a few things that aren't great, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Pros: - Price (I paid about twenty dollars less than it currently costs. I don't know if I would have bought it for the current price of 105) - Sturdy (it's heavy and looks like it will last a lot , until it breaks) 1 -1/4" and 2" couplings. (Although I haven't used it on a 2" hitch yet, I love the fact that I can do so if I buy another machine in the future.) - Holds 4 bikes (not many 1-1/4- inch racks). which holds 4 bikes.) Cons: - Threaded stud - I absolutely hate the threaded stud/bolt! Putting on and taking off the car takes a lot of time and effort! I think the good news is that the thief will give up long before he takes the time to steal this rack! - Large plastic triangles for bikes to rest on. They are bulky and difficult to manage on bikes without a standard straight crossbar. In general, this rack is inconvenient to use with children's, women's and men's bikes that do not have a standard straight crossbar. -Bar. That being said, you can work around these issues, but it will take a long time and (in some cases) cost you more if you buy an adjustable crossbar to get custom men's bikes working. - When 4 bikes are loaded onto this rack it prevents people following you from seeing your lights on a smaller vehicle (I use it on a 2012 Ford Escape). I ended up removing the reflectors from the end of the strut and adding a light bar with built in tail light, brake light and turn signals. While this can't be due to a strut, it could easily be remedied if the manufacturer put lights on the end of the strut instead of reflectors.
