Review on 🔌 Portta VGA + 3.5mm Audio to HDMI Mini Converter - Uncompressed 2 Channel Support - White by Len Cooper

The product works right out of the box. The HDMI signal went out after about a week. I powered it from a no-power USB hub. When I switched my computer to a powered port, it came back to life. Otherwise I am very satisfied with this product. Update (05/06/2015): Monitor colors have recently slipped towards a yellow cast. It got bad enough to launch an investigation. It turned out that the VGA cable was a bit loose (I didn't use screws to attach the connector to the adapter). After firmly connecting with knurled screws, the signal and color are great!
