I bought these for my daughter who plays soccer. She has very long legs and her shorts are always so short. These were only bought because they are long. I wanted something that would stand on my knees. They have pads but they aren't big enough to stand out and be noticeable. You can feel that it is padded. It's actually perfect because she has osteoporosis and the pads give her extra protection if she falls. She usually wears a medium size but in girls clothes. Wednesday is perfect! They need to be dried on a rope 😒 But they have everything I needed. They don't fit too tight around the waste. They have thick elastic and do not fit the legs. They will expand as she grows. The material is soft and she feels comfortable in it. She didn't drive up either because she was walking across the field.
