After living in a relatively new apartment building in Chicago for several years, I have finally come to terms with the fact that no matter how new the building is, we are very "heavy"/bottled waters. My skin and scalp used to get a bit itchy after showering, orange deposits kept forming around my sink/tub no matter how many times I cleaned them etc. So I did a little research and settled on the Culligan shower head. my master bath and the results were instant. The itch mostly went away overnight and so did the brick deposits! Results lasted 6-7 months before I started seeing/feeling signs of minerals returning. And this is where the replacement comes in. I've been using the same shower head with filter changes every six months for about 6 years and couldn't be happier! Skin feels great and my very scary bathroom/wall tile cleaning is reduced to far fewer scrapers!
