I have owned a LG uh80ka 4k laser projector for 2.5 years and got lg uh85la for a family room. The uh85la is much better than the already good uh80ka projector. uh80ka has 3 laser beams, so the color is brighter and much better than uh80ka, a little brighter, easy to install. Before the screen arrives, I project it onto the wall. I just realized that the perfect looking wall is curved to match the UST image and I need to adjust all 12 adjustment points to make it nearly square. After getting a good but cheaper screen, I just need to tweak the top line a bit to make it almost perfect. Compared to the front camera, UST is very, very sensitive to screen quality/flatness. I can see when the temperature has changed, the level and the ground have changed a little, the size of the image has changed a lot. Even if you adjust the focus, the size of the top of the image changes. So be very careful when trying to install the screen. I had to drill 3 times to hang it properly although there are adjustable feet and is carefully sized. Since it's still only 2700 lumens, I have to close the curtains during the day to get the best picture. Overall, I am 100% satisfied with my new projector. expensive but worth it IMHO
