((Information only)), do not buy

Some important information. The price is high/6K, but it has a .66 DMD chip that has a native resolution of 2716 x 1528. I wouldn't buy for 6k anyway, maybe 3500. Vava and p1 optoma have a lower .44/.47 dmd chip which is native 1080p. That's why optoma and vava can (probably) do 3D. In fact, go to Optoma's website and it says it has a .47 chip. The optoma ud60/65 has a .66 dmd chip.

Best dual laser 4K ultrasound on the market

I did not have current samples as there are no authorized LG dealers in my area. So I followed this model from CES 2018 to launch and researched all the information available online before deciding to purchase this product. I don't have a UST screen or a specially prepared wall. I was speechless about picture quality, brightness and colors. It is definitely one of the most expensive products but I am totally convinced of its value.

Died a year later No response from LG

Update 11/23/20 Fixed under warranty. Hopefully if it fails again it's within the one year warranty I have left. Update 11/1/20 The first customer service rep tried to charge me $600 to fix the projector and claimed it was out of warranty. The warranty is two years and I only own one year. A second customer service representative has approved a warranty repair and sent me a return label. I don't know why the first agent tried to blame me, but it worked on the next agent. Another great LG projector

I have owned a LG uh80ka 4k laser projector for 2.5 years and got lg uh85la for a family room. The uh85la is much better than the already good uh80ka projector. uh80ka has 3 laser beams, so the color is brighter and much better than uh80ka, a little brighter, easy to install. Before the screen arrives, I project it onto the wall. I just realized that the perfect looking wall is curved to match the UST image and I need to adjust all 12 adjustment points to make it nearly square. After getting a…

Broken out of the box, LG is useless

Of course it looks good in advertising and the box has a nice design, but what's the point if it doesn't last more than 30 seconds. Called LG thinking they would be upset that their expensive new high end home projector didn't work right out of the box. It was made in June and got to me in early August. 70 days max seems like a reasonable $6000 lifespan, especially the 0.5 days I own. I was so looking forward to my exciting film, but now I doubt if I will ever buy an LG product. It's like…

**Updated** Great price, nice picture, decent sound. (Updated)

Update*** July 2021 HDMI 1 completely stopped working after 1.8 years. They put a 2 year guarantee on it and a label so I will ship it. I will keep you up-to-date. I had to insist that my model had a two-year warranty before it would live up to it. They usually only offer one year. A little background on this is that I got a Sonos Arc in early 2020 and after almost 6 months of using the Atmos the sound dropped out and the projector overheated. So I actually bought an HD Fury Arcana to split the
