I use them to run in the morning when it's still dark. I also have another brand that is rechargeable and uses velcro to adjust the size. Pros: Ease of use. Just put them on. The light on button is easy to find and switch between modes. They glow beautifully when it's dark. So far they are waterproof although I don't run in the rain so I haven't tested them to that extent. Very comfortable - nothing rubs when running. I wear one of these for about 7.5 hours (9 runs) and it gets strong so I can't comment on the battery life. i wear it I've learned to flatten one end and slightly overlap the other end and that helps, but in the long run it really wants to curl up again. I didn't notice any other similar comments so it could be me or that I got an end of a steel coil or something. When running, it also slips into the crook of the arm. The other brand remains. I don't expect a battery change either. Another brand I have, I just have to plug it in to charge. I just prefer plugging things in rather than changing batteries. None of the cons are deal killers. I don't regret buying them.
