These slip ons are not like slip ons. That's why my husband even tried it. They look really cool and he thinks they are super comfortable. The material is breathable and adapts to thick socks just as well as without socks. It's amazing how easy they are to put on and still stay in place. He recently had hand/wrist surgery and has been in a cast for some time. These shoes were a godsend. He can do both legs with one hand. I know all shoes wear out over time, but this one is so untechnical that I think it will last quite a while.
