I went cheaper first and bought swim trunks for my three boys which were cheaper. I immediately sent them back because they were so flimsy and just plain bad quality. These cost about $10 more so I was hesitant to buy them (I needed three so that adds up) but the quality is MUCH better. I think they're going to work for each of my boys for two years and then we can pass on the shirts that the two older ones have. They're a little thicker than the competition, fit tighter around the neck and I like the longer, fitted short sleeves for a sun shirt. The difference between this and another popular brand is quite noticeable.
