This is the first product I have bought. It lights up my bike tires like a Christmas tree and makes my ride safer as I'm more visible. I've had a few compliments while driving about how neat/cool it looks, and it probably will continue to do so. So far it has held a charge very well. It has a remote control and you can change the color scheme while on the bike by pointing it at the tires. There's no on-off button or color selector button on the part that sits on top of the wheels. So it's entirely possible that I have the remote control in my shirt, pants or coat pocket and it could accidentally fall out and I won't be able to use the light. I didn't, but I could ask the company how much the second remote would cost - probably about the same as the entire item. But it was very good value for money and installation was easy. I got it far and wide. Update: 05/18/2021 After not using my book in either the winter months or a rainy April in Louisville, Kentucky, I got ready for a bike ride yesterday. Understandably, I think, since I haven't used the bike for over a couple of months over the winter, it was necessary to replace the 3 AAA batteries that are fitted inside the unit and attached to the spokes of each wheel (small black ones Box). However, when I opened the small black plastic box and carefully removed the batteries, the stainless steel part where the + and - terminals of the batteries are connected detached from the device. It didn't break - it just came loose rendering the front wheel light inoperable as it wasn't possible to fit 3 batteries in it as there was nothing to connect the battery to. I noticed that there is no contact phone number/text for the China company/manufacturer "Waybelive" so I contacted Revain who told me the item is only covered for 30 days. I noticed that another brand offers an 18 month warranty for a similar product. I was happy with the product and it was easy to connect to the wheels/spokes but I wouldn't want to spend $20 and only use the item for one summer and won't be able to use it again because I'm not able to use the batteries replace -Because the inner part of the battery connector fell out and cannot be fixed again.
