Perfect for a Spice Collector

I have a LOT of spices (see pics). I needed a better system than just shoving them all in the cabinet and having to take out at least half of them just to find the one spice I was looking for. This was exactly what I wanted. It fits nicely in my cabinet and is surprisingly sturdy-- it's made out of metal. I had enough room to store additional spices on the top of the rack--I appreciate the small lip on the sides to keep the top spices from falling off.It holds standard size (7 oz or less) and half size spices. Two half size spices (.75 oz each) will fit in one standard size compartment (see pics). The brands I'm currently storing are Kroger, Publix, McCormick, Badia, and Great Value. The labels are also great. As you can see in my pics, there's pre-printed labels for almost every spice I had. The only labels I had to create were MSG, dulse flakes, kashmir chili powder, harissa, and kansui. We've been using this for a few months now and have no issues or complaints. The design pretty much forces my partner to put spices back where he found them so it's definitely cut down on the time it takes to find the spices I need-- they're always in the same spot now.

Pros
  • Ideal for small kitchens with limited space
Cons
  • The rack may not be aesthetically pleasing or match with other kitchen decor
