4x8 wound reduced to 3x4 in one week. Wonderful!

As newbies starting a small farm, we had no idea that a male turkey could injure a mating female, at least not to the extent that he did. One day my husband noticed a dark spot on our hen's feathers on top of her wing and under her wing he found a 4 x 8 tear that had been hidden for so long that the skin had become caked and brown. It looked ugly with jagged edges and a long pocket below where more skin had been torn away from the muscles to leave a gap of about half an inch between them, plus an inch wide bone under the top of the wing. Gap. I've always heard that missing skin doesn't heal more than a quarter size, so I figured I'd have to sew up a chicken. Unfortunately, I couldn't pull the skin up underneath to cover the wound because it puckered up and started to heal. I thought the vet would have to cut through the double layers of skin but she said the surgery wouldn't help with the brown scab on the skin. She gave us antibiotics and all that for a week to prepare the wound for surgery. I was skeptical, so I watched a video on the Ceragyn website of how this spray promotes protein formation, ie new skin, and gave it a try. Well a week later the wound had shrunk to 3 x 4 inches so I decided to keep using the spray instead of going back to the vet for surgery. After our spray ran out we had two days before I received this vial so I sprayed with Bactine to keep the infection from spreading. The wound hasn't gotten any better these days, so I was glad when we got a new bottle. There is still a flap of double skin at the bottom of the wound, but the pocket is much smaller. I think the skin will continue to grow down from the top of the wound until the pocket disappears, but I didn't want to wait until then to post the amazing results. I am currently looking for a turkey saddle to protect our hen during mating. This spray is so beautiful I wouldn't hesitate to use it on myself.
