Review on 💡 Apple 85W MagSafe 2 Power Adapter: Essential Charging Solution for MacBook Pro with Retina Display by Antonio Edan

I purchased this Apple MagSafe 2 power adapter to use with my 2014 MacBook Pro Retina. The plastic casing of my original PSU started peeling off this month (July 2019) which means the original cable lasted 5 years and I use my laptop for several hours every day. I have no doubt that this cable will last the life of my computer. It comes in standard Apple packaging so I can say it's original manufacturer quality. I wouldn't trust my expensive MacBook Pro with third-party power supplies. It has a nice green LED to let you know it's powering your device, and the magnetic connector easily detaches from the computer if you tug on it too hard, which happens often, or if you apply too much pressure from the top or bottom exercise on it. Other connectors like USB C will only break the cable or damage the connector. Also, the magnetic connector is bidirectional, or you can plug it in either side up and it works, which is nice. The entire cord is long enough to reach my wall, but it comes with an AC plug that fits the brick if you're traveling and need a shorter cord. Overall I have not found any issues with this power cord and would highly recommend it. 5/5 stars
