My daughter loves this toy and always takes it out of the box. We bought her when she was about 14 months old (I think) and she still loves it at 20 months old. However, this toy is very, very noisy. The music isn't bad, but the gearing is twice as loud. If she holds the mechanism, the sound gets even louder. Don't expect conversations in the same room. The only other issue is that the secondary/side gears are loose (I know they should be). They won't stay if you (or your child) play with the toy in any way other than on the floor. In this case, we have little gears under all of our furniture and none of them are actually used on the toy. Everything shows that the little miss still loves to pull that thing out and push that button!
