This is a nice shoe that is clearly well made. The skin is flawless, with a pleasant sheen, the seams are perfect. The polished bronze accent buckle goes well with the brown color of the shoe so it doesn't look fake or cheap. The toe box is sharper than the males in the family but is comfortable for those who wear narrow feet. The only drawback is the heel and sole. Only half of the heel has a non-slip surface. The sole half is kind of a rough surface that doesn't give much stability and the outsole of the shoe is slippery although it is slightly textured in the ball of the foot. Also, no matter what material the heel is made of, the edges will pick up dirt and pet hair and quickly lose their appearance. You can't just delete it either; it really sticks. But. This is a quality choice for those who aren't afraid of slippery soles and don't have pets!
