You have no idea how badly I wanted this product to work. Two large houses, both three stories, each with 130 double glazed windows. I spent $780 per house twice a year to have the windows cleaned by a professional. I had high hopes for this great product but it just doesn't work. The technology is cool, it's easy to turn on, it stays attached to the window, and the robots magically recognize the size and shape of the window and direct the machine to every inch of the window. But it doesn't clean. If there is anything other than a very light layer of dust on the window, it simply won't get clean even after two passes. I used it for its intended purpose, used their cleaning product and it's not a trigger. This cool device sprays a very fine micro-mist in front of its path and then sweeps the area with a microfiber pad. No thick mist, no back and forth movements to wash away the dirt. The suction function sucks the machine against the glass, but does not "suck" the dirt. If you had a one square foot microfiber cloth attached to a flat piece of cardboard and gently pushed it across the window after a very light Windex mist, you would be emulating the cleaning action of this product. To attempt. It just doesn't work indoors or out. Will not remove a light fingerprint on the inside or even a light water stain on the outside. Damn, I wish it would have worked! In ten years we will all be cleaning the windows of our houses with robots, but the technology is not there yet. I gotta love Revain's return policy.
