I've had a fairly large amp/speaker for years. I wanted to do some upgrades and looked at Bose. After many years of commissioned work (Denon amps, Kenwood speakers, etc.) I wasn't sure I would sacrifice anything for the box set. Needless to say, as expected, the sound is fantastic! I wasn't entirely sure until I went to a Bose store and listened in person, and then I had to buy it. Setup was easy - the system walks you through everything that's happening on the TV screen. It's been about an hour since I installed the front and rear speakers on stands. worth your money. I had to call support to force the system to update the system. When I called I was prepared for the typical "wait forever wait" experience. I was happy to get through within minutes and the agent referred me to a specialist in that particular system. We registered a few things and then forced an update. The rep even called me back 10 minutes later to make sure everything went right - great customer service. The remote works perfectly with my Apple TV and my Xfinity cable box. The iPhone app is also handy to manage everything. and did I mention the sound quality? Wonderful. And the speakers are polished metal and SMALL. Everyone I showed it to thought I was crazy for what I spent until I played something for them!
