bristles are too soft for oils, although they are said to be used for oils. I paint with oil and no other material. waste my money DO NOT BUY THEM IF YOU PAINTING WITH OILS! They know they're not good for oils. So if you want to return them, pay for a RETURN! I was really looking for GOOD PROFESSIONAL NATURAL OIL BRUSHES. YOU ARE NOT!
