On the other hand, a thermos will keep liquids hot for a while. A major downside is that there are NO instructions/instructions in English in the thermos. Everything is on the box and the instructions inside are in Chinese. The first time I used it the coffee spilled out because I accidentally pressed the "pressure" bottom which released the seal. Since there were no directions, I couldn't know. When I figured it out, it sealed well. The thermos comes with a cleaning brush to clean the inside which is a nice touch but the lid seems to retain water/liquid after use or cleaning and needs to be shaken vigorously to get it out and even then I'm fine not sure if it is so completely empty. Liquid that can cause old coffee or water to remain in the lid. If the instructions had anything to do with it, I certainly couldn't read them to find out. Not a very good buy in my opinion. UPDATED REVIEW - Thermos broke completely after just two months of purchase. Go in the trash because there's no time left for a return. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM.
