Installed this new LCD and powered it up before assembly to see if the screen would turn on. The back (white side) of the screen lights up, but not the front (black side). I suspect the LCD panel was upside down during production. I've ordered a replacement but don't expect it to be from the same batch. I'll update if it works. Revain's customer service was great and refunded my money without having to return the defective part. UPDATE: Received and installed the replacement LCD screen today. Works perfectly. No problem. The screen resolution is sharp, bright and clear. My iPad mini 2 now has a new battery, LCD screen and digitizer. Like new!
