Fast, high-quality scanning

The speed of this scanner is a big plus for me as I have many thousands of family photos to scan. I can scan around 300 photos an hour if I buckle up and work (at 300 resolution). Even when I pause to talk or watch TV, I can still display 200 frames an hour. All in all I've made over 1000 in the last two days since I got it. The scans are of surprisingly good quality. Organizing scans, going through each photo and figuring out who/when/where, finding duplicates, etc. takes about four times as long as scanning with this fast scanner. This is the scanner you need when you have a lot of photos to scan! :) It's as light and compact as a portable punch, and since it scans to a memory card, you don't even need to be near your computer as long as you can plug it in. Scanning goes directly to the memory card. inserted into the back of the scanner. If you want to transfer scans from a memory card to a computer, it's easy. You don't even have to remove the memory card when you connect the scanner to USB with the cable (included), select the scans you want to move and drag and drop them. There are adjustable guides when scanning. to help you insert the photo straight and not crooked. Often I haven't even used it and yet the scans seem pretty easy. So far I've only had to delete about 5-10 and redo them. I still haven't read the instructions. That seems very user friendly to me. When I'm done scanning my 6000+ photos I give them to a friend to scan his own. The only downside is the price, which is higher than other scanners I've reviewed. I chose this one because of the great reviews.
