memory works normally but I am writing about my experience adding memory to my laptop (hope this helps someone, same Problem to avoid ) I had a very slow Dell Latitude E6510 under the control of Windows 10 (32-bit version) with the maximum supported memory of 4GB. I couldn't use the laptop because it was too slow, so I decided to add more memory, anything over 4GB requires Windows 10 (64-bit) to be installed. I installed Windows 64 bit and installed new memory. After the restart, the memory was correctly displayed in the system configuration, but the laptop could not be used, Windows did not restart. I did a little research and found out that I haven't updated the laptop's BIOS (never!), I was using version A03 (2011 I think) while the currently available version is A17. I went to Dell support and downloaded the latest BIOS version which failed to install because the existing BIOS version was really too old. I had to update to version A09 first (also found on Dell support site) and after that I finally managed to apply version A17. After updating the BIOS I rebooted the system and everything worked, Windows 10 worked, the system reports and uses 8GB of memory and the system runs significantly faster. I'm a happy customer!
