Review on 💈 Durable DOVO Straight Razor 1: Achieve Precise Shaving with Style by Jon Ashra

Very happy with this purchase. It took me a while to pull the trigger and just buy it, but I have no regrets. Dovo is a great brand and I'm glad I didn't settle for a plain plastic razor. This is a nice shaver, especially for the price. Mine was almost ready to shave, just tightened up a bit which is very easy (make sure you get a 3 inch wide one, a strap is a must). This is also my first razor purchase, the closest I've had before was a disposable razor. This shaver is good whether you are a seasoned pro or just starting out. I've had a few small cuts since I started, but my shave just keeps getting better. You have to be patient with this product and if you are a beginner I recommend watching lots of YouTube videos not only to go through the whole shaving process but also to find products that you will like. Lynn Abrams is a good starting point for YouTube. For beginners, I recommend using shaving cream instead of soap as it foams more easily. I also recommend getting the badger brush, I started with $35 which I bought on Amazon but my hair started falling out pretty quickly so I returned it and ended up with an expensive Thater brush, Simpson's is another great brand i know and almost want simpson to get chubby 2 best badger brush. I also recommend beginners to get themselves a good aftershave balm, as it smells good and especially helps with irritation or razor burn. I have a Lather & Wood sandalwood aftershave that I really like, I'm a big fan of sandalwood scents. Shaving with a straight razor certainly takes longer than with an electric razor, but I love the process of shaving with a straight razor and you can't get a closer shave. The blade also appears dark in photos, but that's not it, it's just the lighting and blade angle.
