I can't say enough good things about these lights. I bought 4 of the 165ft sets for my wedding in Mexico. When I first told my new husband that I wanted to remove the wedding lights from our suitcase, he was very concerned about how much space they would take up in our luggage. Well let me tell you it's not a problem at all! For the number of feet you get from the lighting, they're surprisingly compact! And the price! this saved us SOOOOO much money! It took me quite a while to get to me, probably because they came straight from China, but I was in no rush to get them so it wasn't a problem. After reading some other reviews I tested them when I got them to make sure they all work. If you are buying multiple sets make sure you keep the remotes with the white remote adapter as I don't think they are interchangeable. You can connect them in two different ways, with or without a remote control adapter. I guess if you don't want to control it with a remote you'd leave it, but I'm not sure why anyone would remove that option since that's what makes it so handy. The remote adapter also adds a bit of length and allows you to dim or flash them as well as turn them on and off without having to unplug them. The power adapter for these is fairly large, so you'll likely need a surge protector tower (rather than a strip) for them to fit if outlets are limited. In addition, they are very bright and light, providing the perfect romantic atmosphere for our whimsical themed wedding. The photo in this review is with lights on our wedding day. It was really easy to hang them up despite the space being so large, mainly because they are so light weight and easy to tie without sagging. future developments as such lights are not really found in Mexico (although I later learned that this seller ships worldwide which is a huge plus!). Needless to say I would definitely buy them again.
