I had no trouble installing this 2005 Honda Pilot to repair a 'soft' pedal. I tested the brake booster and vacuum which was successful, so it was in the master cylinder. The old one I took out was easy to push in with my hand, so it shot. This new one required a significant amount of effort to push the cylinder through. Just make sure you're ready to upgrade before installing. If possible, you'll need access to a bench vise. There are instructions in the box on how to do it correctly. I didn't see any flaws on the part; It looked like an OEM with a new cap and low fluid sensor built in.
