I needed lots of hooks to hang hats, bags, umbrellas, clothes, towels on closet door and bathroom door. Their length is short which doesn't bother me because I needed something long to put on the bags to hang over my coat when I close the closet door. There are two hook hooks that can be used for clothes as the ends won't get caught on towels, bathrobes, etc. The smaller hooks have flat edges and are suitable for bags or briefcases with large straps. White surfaces are prone to cracking, so be careful. I put the hooks in the closet - I like that the part that hangs over the door is small so the ends aren't visible.
