I got these headphones about a year ago. Before them, my sound standard was Philips SHP8900 open type for 2700. At that time, it seemed to me that they had the best sound for me. Then, for the sake of sports interest, I decided to take more expensive ears and make sure, as they write on the forums, that such expensive ears play too honestly and therefore are not interesting. However, this turned out not to be the case. Senkhs immediately fascinated me with the depth and clarity of sound. Bass is just super compared to Philips. Here in the reviews they write a lot that there is not enough bass for everyone, well, buy a normal sound card, at least ASUS Xonar D1 and you will understand that you were wrong. As much bass as you need, and if you add them with equalizers, then I donโt know what wooden ears you need to have in order to endure such pressure, then your head will hurt. Sony MDR-V55, AKG-K44, Philips SHP2022, Philips SHP 8900 went through me but their bass is heaven and earth compared to HD 280Pro. In the MDR-V55 it is weaker, in the K44 the bass is rough and pressing on the ears, they do not pump at 20 Hz, in the SHP-2022 they have a dip in the middle and high they generally play in a narrow range, on the SHP-8900 the bass is normal, but more weakly pronounced , but the high ones clatter more strongly, I had to muffle the equalizers. But the HD280Pro is pleasant to listen to, they do not cause discomfort. The bass pumps what it needs, and takes such bottoms that none of the external subwoofers that I have ever heard such a cut of low frequencies simply reproduced. The tops are clear, but do not cut the ears, but at the same time they are quite transparent and do not drown out the bottoms. The middle is great too. Even at a very low volume, the frequency response does not fall, all frequencies are perfectly audible. The ear cushions are made of pleasant to the touch material, easy to clean with napkins. High-quality, albeit slightly nondescript plastic. After a year of operation, the ears look like they just got them out of the box. I recommend buying them to anyone who has or is going to buy a good device for listening to them. Although on the built-in sounders they will still sound better than some consumer goods for 500.
