Works well after 1000 miles installed. I used ultra blue silicone on the screws before reinstalling them. Obviously they need silicone before they come back. There are about 17 10mm and 12mm bolts holding it to the motor. I trusted the factory gasket to work, in other words no gasket material was added to the block. Not a bad job replacing that, but coolant is everywhere. You can save money by purchasing an unbranded (OEM) Aisin pump. See tightening torques or ask me. I took them from the Haynes manual. By the way, the instructions in the Haynes manual are wrong. They said I should remove the alternator and air conditioning compressor. Both do not have to be removed β neither does the retailer. The way the gasket and pump were packaged in the sealed Toyota box was poor. The gasket was loose in the pump housing and the pump could easily damage the gasket material. Luckily mine was fine, but welts could be seen in other places where the parts rubbed together. When I later bought an Aisin pump (as a spare), the seal was very well protected and insulated in the box.
