My pump failed during my first summer in Las Vegas. Keep it in the garage. But now I've learned to live without a pump and it's better than ever. They must be properly configured. I keep a large styrofoam cup in the nearest 5 gallon bucket of water. times easier to handle than with a large reservoir on the device. I just put in a cup of water and it takes 45 minutes. I like it. Now uses less power. Others write that it's just a big noisy fan. not so quiet. I agree. but it's a good powerful fan that moves the air pretty well. I place it under the table to allow cool air to escape down the sides of the table. Also helps against noise. So I was disappointed for a while but after the adjustment I think it's the perfect setup. This is not for bedrooms. be sure of that. This is for a garage or outdoor table.
