While this bag is still worth the price (too much tension will ruin it, for example), the zipper has larger, stronger teeth that just feel like they can take a lot more abuse than a Stanley bag. The Stanley bag looks a little more sophisticated. While both bags have 6 external pockets, the Stanley has 3 pockets on each side of the bag, with the larger pocket having a durable Velcro closure on one side for storage. In contrast, the Craftsman has three mesh pockets, with three non-mesh pockets directly behind. Stanley bags have a lot more capacity, while Craftsman bags seem pretty limited. The interior of the Stanley bag has 5 different sized pockets on one side and a full length pocket on the other side with two Velcro points to secure things inside. Craftsman has no inside pockets. While I'm not sure about its usefulness, the Stanley bag also has reflective strips on the bag's outside flap, so walking down a dark country lane waving your tool bag could save your life. For the purpose I originally had in mind. (for storing large hand tools) the sturdy, oversized Craftsman fits my needs perfectly. However, if you're looking for a small tool bag to store basic screwdrivers, a hammer, tape measure and other small tools in one of your kitchen cabinets, the Stanley is probably your best bet.
