Grip spring broke and fell off

They were very expensive and I rarely use them. But the spring that springs back the blade after cutting has fallen off. Now when you cut, the blades stay closed and I have to open them manually every time I cut something. Ridiculous. At this price they should last forever with no problems.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Only available in black

The Felco brand is the best for this type of product

I have used these professionally for years and buy a holstered pair for every employee who spends a year in landscaping. Until then, they use fakes. Remember to soak a separately sold holster in a good quality 3-in-1 oil and put the secateurs in it for at least a week and the holster will fit the secateurs and the holster will last much longer too.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Compatibility

Felco never disappoints

Like all other Felco products they have not disappointed me. I grew up in a family garden/nursery so I have high expectations for outdoor products. They handle the thick branches of the fruit trees in my backyard with ease and can easily cut off a thick thumb, which I don't plan on doing anytime soon. I've left them in the sprinkler system, thrown them away, trotted them, and they're still cutting. When it comes to them, you get what you pay for. If the price puts anyone off, buy a pair for $15

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • high price

I bought it for my wife. She wanted $10 from a big store made in China that probably wouldn't last a season. I chose between them and the F-2. Everyone said it was for small hands and to be honest it really was. Some people have argued that they are still TOO big and I have to disagree. I'm an average male, 6ft 2in, 180lbs. They are tiny in my hands. They seem to fit my wife's hands well and are small overall. I'll take the F-2 for myself. trims her rose bushes like butter. She loves using…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • The list goes on.

Great secateurs but compare this 'big size' to the Felco F-6 for a smaller hand. The only reason I didn't give this secateurs 5 stars is the incomplete description. F-2 is the "big" size of these secateurs, while the smaller size is F-6 (sells for a few dollars less). I bought this for my wife. As a pruner, the Felco is simply the best (much better than the $20 type sold in big stores). The problem is that it is not clear from the description of this item that the F-2 is designed for a large…

Not identical to Original

I am so disappointed in these scissors! I bought these to replace a couple of very old ones, assuming they will be the same. Exceptional quality, just like original. They certainly cost a penny. They look the same and the controls are as simple and convenient as the old ones. However, a few months after I started using them in exactly the same way and for the same purpose as the old ones, these scissors have lost their sharpness and they tweak the branches without cutting or cleaning. They…

Seriously, measure your hands! (see user photos)

First of all these shears cut MUCH better than any other shears I have owned. Compared to him, Freescars look like children's scissors. They slice through dead, thick, lignified branches with ridiculous ease. My only complaint is that they are designed for small male hands, not female hands. I have average woman's hands. Typical Caucasian sizing, I think a small glove and a size 5 ring. This clipper is still too big to hold in your hands when you open the blades. Holding your hands as if you…

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Don't waste your hard earned money on anything else

These are the best secateurs I have had in over 35 years of gardening. I currently have a huge garden and have been severely behind on maintenance for the past few years due to fibromyalgia. Well, I retired last year and started gardening very early this spring. It's summer now and I've been using these secateurs for probably at least 50 hours. I don't mean that it was 50 hours on my belt. I mean, I've been cutting branches for 50 hours. After this time the blade is still very sharp. When it…
