Sore hands but good for picking leaves.

This item is very functional and beautiful that you don't have to touch the leaves. I give it a 5. But the design hurts and hurts my arms. I added bubble wrap to the part that rests on my arm. It still hurts a bit, but the bandage helped. This happens when the hands are on the handles. When my hands are on the back of the shovel, they feel a little more comfortable. Picks up lots of wet or dry leaves. They can scatter leaves stuck to the ground.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

  • Not bad

It turns gathering leaves into sacks!

Very easy to use, just grab the handles and manipulate them like giant hands. I love how easy it is to collect the leaves in a bag and they hardly ever fall to the ground. Also, given the size, they are not that difficult to bend. The only downside I find is that the back of the grips are right on the back of my wrist and it's uncomfortable. Wearing gloves with a long cuff covering this area completely solves the problem, but it seems like they could have designed this a bit differently to…

Not so good for long term use

They collect a lot of leaves, grass, pine needles, whatever. However, I think they're better for a man's big hands than a woman's, and they're just a little awkward to get in and out of when you need a free hand or two to scoop or move the bin . I have bought both this pair and Leaf Hands Grabber Scoops which I prefer to these. I am a woman over 65 who does a lot of gardening. I thought a longer wrist grip would make you a little slimmer, but the extra length doesn't make them as effective as…

Use causes wrist pain

This is a very strong, durable plastic. The problem is that positioning the handle on the far edge causes an impulse shoulder effect to be transmitted to the user's wrist. Wrist wraps don't help either - using them under any load creates terrible stress on the wrist, leading to fatigue and constant pain. Nice and strong yes, but as an engineer I can say they are very poorly designed in terms of mechanical advantages. Rather than just complaining about this, I suggest the manufacturer move the…

Broke on second day of use

In my village I have to put leaves in paper bags. It sucks. It takes forever. After the last year I was so disappointed with this experience that I tried to learn all the tools to make leaf collecting easier. I already had a self-propelled leaf blower, but I needed something else to make bagging those leaves easier. Over the years I've looked through a few pieces of the cheaper "Leaf Claws" style that you can find at major hardware stores, so I've been looking for something better. I ended up…
