Broke on second day of use

In my village I have to put leaves in paper bags. It sucks. It takes forever. After the last year I was so disappointed with this experience that I tried to learn all the tools to make leaf collecting easier. I already had a self-propelled leaf blower, but I needed something else to make bagging those leaves easier. Over the years I've looked through a few pieces of the cheaper "Leaf Claws" style that you can find at major hardware stores, so I've been looking for something better. I ended up buying products from three different companies, this being one of them. My wife thought I was crazy, but she's not the kind of person to spend hours on this task, so I didn't care. Of the three I bought, THIS was the one I thought I would like the most, so I tried it first. this season. On my first outing I probably collected 10-12 bags of leaves. I noticed some stress lines on the plastic but I figured it was just them breaking. The next day of leaf packing, around the 8th sack of leaves, one of these claws broke off completely. Point. I'm glad I bought several different brands of these things because the day they broke I didn't get mad or angry. I just put the broken ones away and picked up the next stamp while I made another dozen bags of leaves. A week later I made 20 more bags on a "different" brand tool and while it may not feel as comfortable in the hand as this item, they show no signs of product failure. If I had been more motivated I would have tried to get the company to send me another pair but I'm sure they break just as quickly as this first set so why bother. I don't think it's bad design, just cheap plastic.
