Answers the question: Can a customer regret a tool that costs less than $5?

I tossed this into my shopping cart to promote something lightweight to have in my toolbox for quick, non-critical measurements that I need to capture and transmit. And somehow it cannot fulfill this function. - From the picture it looks like it has a little plastic wheel to move it (like a real caliper). . . but it's really just an exceptionally unergonomic protrusion that cuts into the thumb. The two plastic parts are bent just by looking at them (everything is bent, actually) and get stuck when you try to move them. You CAN use this for sewing or paper crafts but I don't see why you would need it. - There is no latch which makes it slip easily once you loosen the clamp on the side. - the slider is surprisingly sharp - its markings don't match other rulers and tape measures I have - the color of the sea foam is blue instead of dark green (what a difference, but still). While it's pretty hilarious junk, it's barely worth 99 cents. worth the comedy. Not $2.40. I would suggest spending about $10 for a metal version with a lock and wheel because it's literally worse than a plastic ruler.
