Review on ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Cooler Master MM720: White Matte Lightweight Gaming Mouse | Ultraweave Cable, 16000 DPI, RGB, Claw Grip Shape by Sheppard Priest

Almost perfect, except for the squeaky keys. Check out the details for the fix.

The mouse buttons creak due to the poor design of the cooler housing. They can try to get a gold sample but all their mice will squeak due to the friction of the plastic. The easiest way to fix this is to lubricate the trigger assembly. Take a bottle of silicone oil (Super Lube 56104 recommended) and hold the mouse with the cable pointing towards the ceiling, then place a few drops of oil under each of the triggers. Press the buttons several times to allow the oil to penetrate any areas that may be rubbing. You might want to repeat this a few times or find other angles to drip oil between the body and the triggers. Remove excess oil with alcohol. You may need to repeat this every few months if you are using low quality oil. Moving the triggers afterwards is also somewhat redundant, but fixing it requires complete disassembly of the mouse and trial and error based on manufacturing tolerances. Something like adding layers of ribbon to prevent triggers from being pressed after they've flipped switches works, but is very tedious. I doubt most people will notice this as gaming mice usually have movement issues.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • Some little things
