I bought one of these a few years ago and also one of the black versions for a pair of bikes, one black, one white. I ended up returning black, nothing wrong with that, for another transparent because it's much, much lighter. On the black version, only the headlights are on. This transparent version illuminates the lights as well as the whole body, it really is the difference between day and night! Now I have 6 of these on 6 different bikes and I wouldn't use anything else. They're well made, durable, the batteries are easy to swap out and last a long time, they mount almost anywhere and turn on in seconds. They are attached with 2 rubber bands. On some bikes I attach it to the seat post, on others it attaches to the frame and on the bike I ride it attaches to the basket mount. All of them are secure and have never been moved and literally took a few seconds to install. I can only recommend these lamps!
