Review on 🧭 Sharp Survival Glow in The Dark Military Compass - Top Camping Gear for Reliable Navigation & Survival by Chad Mills

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works just as well as one would expect from a compass.

This compass arrived undamaged and works as intended. Just a few instructions.1] A loop is not a pen. Do not hold or pull when attempting to open the case. 2] Opens easily by holding the compass at the bottom and lifting the cover at the offset. No, this is NOT a dent.3] Rotate the outer dial to align the N with the red N on the inner dial. Stay level and the arrow ALWAYS points north. Turn the entire compass so the N lines up with the arrow. This is a compass, and then other directions on the dial are accurate. 4] Night use. Remember that glow in the dark will only work if the open compass has been exposed to light before using it in the dark. Align the external drive as described in step 3.5]. In the dark you can see the external drive and the arrowhead. Also, the 2 glow-in-the-dark dots on the inside of the face (no, they are NOT glue, pegs, or fluffy dots) are glow-in-the-dark locators. 6] Place the needle/arrow between the glowing dots. and it's definitely north. If you know north, you can determine all cardinal points. If not, then maybe you shouldn't use a compass or go hiking in the woods. This compass was definitely used in this way. Mine arrived in perfect condition, easy to open, no unexplained points, worked at night.
