I needed this in black for my location and overall it fits the bill. But as others have pointed out, although there is a place in the middle to attach to a socket with a screw, it is CLOSED with thin plastic on the front. I decided to open it up with a drill (very easy!) and then widen the hole with a Phillips head. NOTE: After that, you MUST buy another long screw to secure it. Specifically, I purchased a #6-32 x 1-3/4" mounting screw at a local hardware store. This worked great for me to remove the connector. (Apparently at some point the manufacturer left the center hole open and the screw capped install, so the option to do so was obvious.) If it holds, I'm glad I gave it 4 stars because of the stupid workaround I had to do to screw it to the wall socket .
