This product is a waste of money and time, harmful to the nail bed. Bought to remove gel polish. I used foil which is pretty fast but no better. Thought to try this. The concept is great, the product doesn't fit. The flimsy cotton pads are so thin they just can't keep the acetone wet long enough to remove the polish. I even reapplied the acetone twice and it still dried too quickly. Cotton balls have also been used and while they are better they are still not as good as foil. I believe this is because the open clamp allows air to enter the pad and cotton, causing the acetone to dry out quickly. Also, the pads are too thin to leave much acetone on them. DO NOT BUY gel nail polish remover.
