The renovation is finally complete and we can enjoy the beautiful details of our bathroom. The Delta Macaw Trim Kit is a great deal in terms of features, settings and price. We could have spent twice as much on trim kits if we hadn't found the reversing valve and valve control on the same trim. There aren't many options with 2-in-1 functionality. Fingerprints remain on the note, which we wipe off with a towel while wiping down the glass case. But it seems easy to care for. The temperature control valve is great, but it was a bit tricky to set up at first. We couldn't figure out how to set the temperature limiter. After several attempts, we finally figured out how the water got warmer or colder. It's recommended not to set the temperature above 120 degrees, but we were only able to get it to around 122 degrees, or a lot lower than we'd like. We used the LED shower head which started flashing red lights to alert us of hot water. We manually adjust the handle ourselves to slightly less than full power to keep the kids from swearing, while also giving us the option to use hotter water in case we need a deep shower clean. All other installation instructions were very easy. The 3 way switch setting allows us to use our hand wand, rain shower head or a combination of both. The pressure remains excellent with every setting. The cartridge is included with this fairing kit and is about right for the R22000. Customer service was great. Our thermostat cover had some imperfections and I called and got a replacement a week later. Since we have an uneven tile surface, the pad was not a problem. There is a white cap behind the plate to cover rough (we used R22000). Siliconized according to the instructions and the overlay passed without any problems (without silicon). In general very happy with the purchase.
